Shibuya, Yukari
Born in 1974 in Tokyo, specializes in educational system and project management.
She worked for IBM Japan in 1999, and started up and ran NPO to inspire young adults to find their own set of goal and own life style through providing opportunities to see, read and interact with diverse working environments and experiences of others, from 1999 to 2009.
Attended the Summer Camp in USA during her youth and experienced the significant differences between the teaching styles to young people in USA and Japan. Lived and attended Junior High School in Singapore.
Graduated Seikei University, Tokyo, in 1997 majored the School of Engineering (computer science), Certifide Teacher on the Tokyo Metropolitan School Board. Completed the Master of Science, Media and Politics at Keio University in 1999. She joined some projects of cooperation between industry, government and the academic world from 1996 - 1999. She took a certification of Project Manager of Kepner-Tregoe in the United States, in Japan, 2000.
Selected as The Best Women of the Year 2004, Leader Division by The Nikkei Women. She was voted and chosen as The Outstanding Yourth in Japan in 2004, "Grand Prix", by The Japan Junior Chamber of Commerce ( NINGENRYOKU Grand Prix ). She is an adviser from 2003 to 2008 on "Promoting the Activity on Interaction with School and Corporate Executive", a committee of The Japan Association of Corporate Executives. And also acted as member of various committees initiated by both the Ministry of work and health, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan.
